Jefferson County Teachers' Credit Union offers insurance to help you attain affordable, reliable coverage without the worry. That is why we offer several types of insurance for your benefit and peace of mind.
NCUA Insurance- As a credit union member, all your share accounts are insured up to $100,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an agency of the federal government. Individual Retirement Accounts are insured separately up to $250,000 by NCUA. With this type of coverage, you'll always know your money is secure at the credit union.
Credit Life Insurance- This insurance is optional and it keeps an insured
member's family from paying his credit union debts. This insurance
covers up to $40,000 and is available to eligible members at a
low cost.
Credit Disability Insurance- This optional insurance pays your loan
payment while you are sick or disabled for an extended period
of time. The insurance covers up to a maximum of $40,000 and low
premiums are added to your loan balance.
Other insurance available to members are accidental death, life, auto and homeowners.
